Ferrari juniors Armstrong, Ilott, and Alesi set in F2 seats for 2020
Ferrari Driver Academy members Marcus Armstrong, Giuliano A♔lesi and Callum Ilott have all been confirmed in Formula 2 seats for the 2020 season.
Following confirmation this morning that Ferrari junior and FIA Formula 3 champion Robert Shwartzman would be joining Mick Schumacher at Prema꧋ for 2020, the Italian manufacturer has confirmed where its other junior drivers will be landing for next season.

Following confi🌱rmation this morning that Ferrari junior and FIA Formula 3 champion Robert Shwartzman would be joining Mick Schumacher at Prema for 2020, the Italian manufacturer has confirmed where its other junior drivers will be landing for next season.
Armstrong finished as runner-up to Shwartzman in the FIA F3 standings last year, winning three races, and will race with ART Grand Prix in 2020. The team has claimed the drivers' 𝐆title in the last two seasons with George Russell (2018) and Nyck de Vries 💛(2018).
"It’s an honour to join ART Grand Prix for many reasons, mainly because of the team’s huge history. It’s been a driving force in GP2 and F2ܫ over the last fifteen years and a lot of F1 drivers have come from the ranks of ART Grand Prix," Armstrong said.
"I met the team in Paris to meet everybody and my first impression was that everybody is really professional, they try to find small advantages everywhere… and🦩 there is a little pressure to be honest!
"I’m confident we can be 𒁃successful together because the team wants to teach me all the right things and one of my strengths has always been to adapt t✅o new situations."
Ilott will remain in ♊F2 for a second season, moving across to UNI-Virtuosi after racing with Sauber Junior Team by Charouz through 2019.

FDA stablemate Alesi also switches teams, movin🌠g from Trident to the incoming HWA Racelab team, where he will partner Artem Markelov.
