F3 runner-up Pourchaire to make F2 debut with HWA for Bahrain finale

Formula 3 vice-champion Theo Pourchaire will make his Formula 2 debut with HWA Racelab at next month’s Bahrain finale🔯.
The 17-year-old will cont🌺est the final two rounds of the season for HWA alongside team regular Artem Markelov in Bahrain.
Having won back-to-back titles in French a🧔nd German F4, Pourchaire made the step up to F3 for 2020 and starred in his rookie caℱmpaign, claiming two victories for ART Grand Prix and finishing second in the standings, just three points behind champion Oscar Piastri.
The French driver is linked to the Alfa Romeo Formula 1 team through being a member of Sauber🎉’s young d꧑river programme.
HWA Racelab confirmed on Wednesday that Pourchaire will drive alongside Markelov for the final four races of the F2 season in the seat which was occupied by 𓆏previous F3 Jake Hughes in Sochi, following Giuliano Alesi’s departure after Mugello.
