Williams F1 junior Dan Ticktum completes Carlin’s 2021 F2 line-up

Williams Formula 1 young driver Dan Ticktum will race for&n𒆙bsp;Carlin in his seco🥃nd Formula 2 season, completing the team's 2021 line-up.
The former Red Bull junior claimed one victory a🎃nd a further three podiums on his way to finishing 11th in the standings during h🐷is rookie campaign with DAMS last year.
Ticktum, 21, has made the switch to Bri🧸tish outfit Carlin for his sophomore season, where he will partner fellow race-w෴inner Jehan Daruvala.
“I’m really looking forward to the season ahead and working with Carlin this year,” said Ticktum, who drove for Carlౠin in the post-sea🍬son test in Bahrain last December.
“We had three productive test days in Bahrain and I already feel part of the team🐭. We have worked really well together and already know what our goals are for pre-sea🌄son testing.
“Carlin proved they had a race-winning car towards the e♑nd of last season and I really want to capitalise on that and mount a strong championship challenge from the start. I can’t wait to get the season underwaไy.”
Ticktum is a two-time winner of the Macau Grand Prix as well as finishing runner-up in the European F3 championship in 2018 with Motopark. He previously competed for Carlin in the 2019 Macau GPও.
“We’re really excited to have Dan join the team,” said Carlin boss Trevor Carlin. “We’ve known Dan 𓆏a long time and worked with him briefly in Macau a couple of years ago as well as in the post-season F2 𝓀tests in December.
“He’🗹s very quick and a great racer and we are excited to see his true potential with us this year. We’ll be working with him to really develop everything he’s learnt so far with the aim to mount a very consistent and measured championship attack.
