F2 & F3 make further changes for 2022 with reduced points for sprint races

On Friday, both F2 and F3 announced that t🐈hey would be return♚ing back to a two-race per weekend format.
Each round of both championships will consist of𝓰 practice, qualifying, two races with the feature races taking place on Sunday.
In F2, the grid for the sprint wil🐲l 𝐆be determined by Friday’s qualifying results with the top 10 being reversed.
The points for the aforementioned sprint race has been reduced to 1♐0, 8, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2 and 1 - the top eight only scoring points.
In F3, the grid will also be determined by the qualifying result, but the🍨 top 12 will be reversed.
Only the top 10 will score points in F3 sprint races - 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4,🎐 3, 2 and 1.
For the feature races, both championships wꦫ🐲ill continue to use F1’s official points system.
Finally, only two points will be awarded for pole position, while in both races, the driver who achieves the fastest lap will be awarded an additional point should they classify inside♔ the top 10.
