Felix Rosenqvist not thinking of Formula E title battle despite points lead

Felix Rosenqvist is not yet thinking about challenging for his maiden Formula E title despite moving into the lead of the drivers’ championship wit🐭h victory on Saturday in Marrakesh.

Felix Rosenqvist is not yet thinking about challenging for his maiden Formula E title despite moving into the lead of the drivers’ championship with victory on Saturday ꦰin Marrakesh.

Ros🦹enqvist arrived in Marrakesh second in the standings after inheriting the win in Hong Kong’s second race following Daniel Abc’s exclusion, trailing DS Virgin Racing’s Sam Bird.

With two wins from three races in the current seaso♚n and having been an ever-present force at the front of the🍌 Formula E field for over a year now, Rosenqvist is already being tipped as a title contender for Season 4.

However, the Swede is staying groun♓ded, explaining af⭕ter the race that he is not yet paying attention to the points tallies despite already being one-quarter of the way through the season.

“It just changes ๊so quickly in this championship. You need to be on it all the time, work hard, be ready for an uphill during the day and turn it around,” Rosenqvist꧒ told mahbx.com. 

“I think it’s not always you can do thaಞt. I’m just trying to do my best. The team tries to do their best, and then we see ඣwhere we end up in the points.

“Honestly, I’ꦬm not really thinking about the points, but to have 54 or whatever I have is not bad after thꦦree races.”

Rosenq꧂vist sits four points clear of Bird at the top of the standings, with Techeetah's Jean-Eric Vergne a further seven points behind in third💦 place.

The next Formula E𝔉 round takes place in Sanജtiago, Chile on February 3.
