Jaguar reveals Formula E season five concept livery
Panasonic Jaguar Racing has released a concept livery for its season five challenger - the I-TYPE 3 - that will contest the 2018/2019 FIA Formula E Champions💦hip.
The British manuf🔴acturer becomes the latest team to provide a glimpse of what its ‘Gen2’ car co♏uld look like, after the likes of Audi and Nissan also revealed concept liveries following the formal unveiling of Formula E’s new car in Geneva last month.

The British manufacturer becomes the latest team to provide a glimpse of what its ‘Gen2’ car could look like, after the likes of Audi and Nissan also๊ revealed concept liveries following the formal unveiling of Formula E’s new car in Geneva last month.&nbs✨p;
Season one champion Nelson Piquet Jr got behind the wheel of Jaguar’s new car in its first official test at Monteblanco last🍷 month, while Mitch Evans is set to get his first taste of driving the new all-electric machinery at the next test outing.
"This is a reಞally exciting day f🍬or Panasonic Jaguar Racing as we take the next step on our electrification journey," team principal James Barclay said.
“We🐓 joined the championship so that we could take learnings from Formula E and directly transfer them from race to road to help shape future electric ve🦄hicles for Jaguar Land Rover.
“The concept livery of the Jaguar I-TYPE 3 is a progression from this season’s race car whic🍌h we will unveil later this year.”
The Gen2 Formula E car, which incorporates the Halo cockpit protection device, has more power than its predecessor and will be capable of completing a full race distance on a single ꧂charge, removing the need for car swaps which have featured in every race since the series’ inception in 2014.
Jaguar heads into this weeken𝔍d’s inaugural Rome E-Prix occupying fourth place in the teams’ championship, having scored points in every round so far in 2017/18 - including a first podium finish in Hong Kong.
