Chadwick handed second FE test outing with NIO in Marrakech

Jamie Chadwi✱ck will once again test for the NIO Formula E team during the second in-season test in Marrakesh this ꦬmonth. 

The 20-year-old, who is the only female in history to win a raceꦚ in the British Formula 3 Championship, took part in her maiden Formula E outing in NIO's Gen2 challenger following the season-opening Ad Diriyah E-Prix in Saudi Arabia.

The 20-year-o🍒ld, who is the only female in history to win a race in the British Formula 3 Championship, took part in her maiden Formula E outing in NIO's Gen2 challenger following the season-opening Ad Diriyah E-Prix in Saudi Arabia. 

Having impressed during her first FE run, NIO has confirmed Chadwick will get back behind the wheel of its 2018/19 car following the second race of the season at the Circuit International🐽 Moulay El Has🐽san for the post-event rookie test on January 13.

“I’m thrilled to be🌠 jumping back int🐻o the NIO Season 5 Formula E car at the official rookie test event in Marrakesh," Chadwick said. 

"I loved every minute of the first test in Riyadh and now I am acclimatised to the ca♛r, I am confident we can have a successful test.

NIO 🍒team principal Gerry Hughes, added: "After a somewhat reduced test event programme in Saudi Arabia due to a technical issue beyond our control, I am obviously very pleased to extend the opportunity for Jamie to test with us once again.

Chadwick is NIO's first confirmed driver for th🧔e test. It follows the news that Mahindra will run ex-Williams Formula 1 racer Sergey Sirotkin alongside simulator and development driver Sam Dejonghe.

According to , Tatiania Calderon is also set to get another run with Techeetah after impressing the team during her first test in Fomula E machinery in December's Saudi Arabia test. It is expected the GP3𝓰 driver will be joined by James Rossiter.
