Pascal Wehrlein confirms exit from Mahindra Formula E team
Pascal Wehrlein has confirmed he has parted ways with t꧙he Mahindra Formula E team, ahead of an expected switch to Porsche.
Wehrlein is set to race for the Po💝r⛦sche Formula E team from next season having cut ties with Mahindra with immediate effect, mid-way through the 2019-20 season.
It ౠis understood the German will not race for the Mahindra squad during the remainder of the campaign, w🌊hich is currently suspended due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Wehrlein, who raced in F1 with Manor and Sauber between 2016 and 2017, joined Mahindra ahead of the 2018-19 sไeason and agreed a three-yea♛r deal which was originally set to run until the end of 2020-21.
ꩲBut on Monday afternoon, Wehrlein confirmed his Mahindra exit in an Instagram post which read: “From today onwards I will no longer be part of Mahindra Racing
“My interest was to finish the season b🌄ut the current situation didn’t allowꩲ so.
“I can’t say 💞much about my future but will keep you informed.”
Mahindra is yet to comment on the matter, though an official announcement - including details on Wehrlein’s rep𓂃lacement to par😼tner Jerome d'Ambrosio - is expected imminently.
The 25-year-♋old finished 12th in the standings during his maiden Formula E campaign with Mahindra in 2018-19, recording a best result of second place in Chile.
Wehrlein sits 14th after the opening five rounds of the curre🌞nt Formula E season having scored points on just two occasions so far.
The Formula E season is expected to resu♛me in August o𓆏nce it is safe to do so following the coronavirus crisis.
