Da Costa clinches pole for Formula E’s Monaco E-Prix

The Portuguese driver came out on top in an ultra-competitive qualifying with the t🍒op four drivers in the final shootout🥃 separated by just 0.060s.
Da Costa’s time of 1m31.317s was enough to see him take his sixth pole♍ in Formula E.
Robin Frijns joins the Techeetah driver on the✤ front row of the grid, missing out on pole by just 0.012s.
Mitch Evans set the pace in FP2, but he co🌺uld only manage third in the🍨 SuperPole shootout.
Jean-Eric Vergne is set to start fourth ahead of Maximilian Gunther, while Oliver Rowland was frustrated with sixth after his time was chalked off for ♉leaving the garage too late and taking to the track when the pit exit was shut.
Nick Cassidy settled for sevent⛄h on the grid, with the rookie narrowly missing out on a top six start by just 0.002s, continuing the theme of it being very close in Formula E this weekend.
Pascal Wehrlein, Alex Lynn and Norma🎐n Nato rounded out the top ten.
Rene Rast could only manage 11th, just ahead of Mahindra’s Aဣlexander S🧔ims.
Sebastien Buemi bꦫeat Jake Dennis, who won last time out in Valencia, while Stoffel Vandoorne was the lead Mercedes in 15th.
Sam Biಌrd is set to start from 16th after his lap was heavily disrupted by the second Mercedes of Nyck de Vries - who could only manage 23rd after he clipped a switch on his steering wheel that forced him into a lower power mode.
