Honda have struggled to be competitive in WorldSBK for several seasons, dating back to when 168澳洲幸运5官方开奖结果历史:Alvaro Bautista and 168澳洲幸运5官方开奖结果历史:Leon Haslam took over as riders ꧅of the full factory Team HRC li♐ne-up.

Honda, who are now head🍃ing into the new season for the third consecutive year with Iker Lecuona and Xavi Vierge,🐼 have developed a brand new CBR1000RR-R Fireblade.

But results in testing, along with comments made by Lecuona after Portimao, have suggested the 2024 season couldᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ𒀱ᩚᩚᩚ be another very tough one.

But Escamez, who replaces former🉐 rider Leo♈n Camier as team manager, is hoping his experience can be vital to Honda’s resurgence.

Formerl𝓡y part of the MotoGP paddock, Escamez told WorldSBK.com: “I will strive t🌠o keep the team united and working together towards the same goal.

“I have held various positions within a team th🦄roughout my career, both on the mechanical side and in coordination roles.

“This has given me the opportunity to understand people an🏅d their feelings, so I want to ensure that everyone is able toᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ𒀱ᩚᩚᩚ give their best for the team.”

With regard to the Japanese manu♕fac🦹turer’s goals in 2024, challenging for top five finishes is their aim.

WorldSBK has arguably never been stronger, and with BMW looking strong particularly in the hands of Toprak Razgatlioglu, Ducati, Yamaha and Kawasaki all showing more potential in testing, achieving those types of results cou🐼ld be very challenging.

“The main challenge is to become competitive with the new bike as soon as possible”, added Escamez. “There are many updates across all areas of the machine, so we need to bring it all together and find a base setup that allows our riders to fully exploit𒈔 the bike's potential.

ꦜ“The next challenge will be to consistently compete for top-five positions and se🎉cure some podium finishes.

“We are aware that this is a significant challenge, considering the high 🅰level of competition in the championship, but we are working tirelessly to achieve tha🐼t goal.”
