The Red Bul🌃l driver pips both McLarens, edging out Oscar Piastri by just 0.049s wit꧃h Lando Norris third.
George Russell slots his Merc🅘edes into P4 with Isack Hadjar an impressive fifth for Racing Bulls.
Next come the Aston Martins of Lance Stroll and Ferna💜ndo Alonso in sixt𓂃h and seventh.
The two W𝓀illiams are eighth and ninth, with Alpine's Pierre Gasly rounding out the top 10.

Absolute disaster for Ferrari as Charles𓃲 Leclerc and Lewis Hamilton are both eliminated in Q2 as the two Aston Martins reach Q3 on medium tyres!
Leclerc is only P11 with Hamilton 12th. W🐷hat a nightmare on home soil for the Italian squad.
Also o♑ut is 𓂃home hero Kimi Antonelli in 13th, with Gabriel Bortoleto 14th and Franco Colapinto - who didn't take part in Q2 after his huge Q1 shunt - P15.

M🃏ax Verstappen is third, ahead of George Russell and the Ferrari pair of Charles Leclerc and Lewis Hamilton.

Q2 - the second part of qualifying - has begun a🥀fter heavy delays. Will this be a clean session after a heavily disrupted and🍸 twice red-flagged Q1?
It appears as though the FIA have stuck with their original decision, with Gabriel Bortoleto taking part in this season and Oliver Bearman still in🎀 his garage.

The start of Q2 has been delayed and the reason is because the lap time of Oliv꧟er Bearman is under review.&💙nbsp;
Bearman had set a lap to progress into Q2 but his time was delꦅeted, seeing him drop into 19th and the elimination zone.&nbsﷺp;
It didn't look as though Bearman made it to the line before the red flag came out, and this is what the FIA are currentlꦰy evaluating.
Bearman is still in his Haas and waiting to🍸 find out whether he is put thro൲ugh, or if his qualifying is over.

It's a big impact for the Argentine driver on his Alpine debut. Colapinto is out of his car andꦓ okay after a heavy hit with the🌠 barriers, but his car is certainly worse for wear.
He had set a time good enough to advance Q2 but he will🦹 not be able to take part in the session now.
Colapinto already has a suspected oಞne-place grid penalty coming as well after being released into the pit lane t👍oo early before the first red flag ended.
Max Verstappen goes fastes🥃t in his Red Bull,𝓰 three tenths clear of Oscar Piastri's McLaren and Fernando Alonso's Aston Martin.
The Ferra🧸ris 𓆉are only ninth with Charles Leclerc and 11th for Lewis Hamilton.
The two Saubers and two Haꦜas' are currently in the drop zone, along with Yuki Ts🐠unoda who is out after his enormous crash and will start tomorrow's grand prix plum last.
After a 🎀delay to allow for those afor꧑ementioned repairs to take place, Q1 is back underway.

That's a big crash for Y🔥uki Tsunoda at the Villeneuve chicane. He's out ꦛof the car and is ok.
That was a huge impact! Tsunoda's car actually rolled after a hit with the barri🐲ers which has completely destroyed the rear-end of the RB21.
