Virgin Mobile Yamaha R6 Cup rider Ollie Bridewell stole ▨the show Sunday as he celebrated his triple success; po💦le position, fastest lap and victory in an action packed 15-lap race at Croft circuit, N Yorkshire.

Bridewell, who now lies in second pl𝓡ace in overall standings, did not get the best of starts and found himself in seventh place at the🐈 end of the opening lap.

However, undeterred theಌ Wayside Garage-backed rider establis𓄧hed himself in second by lap six, a position he was to hold for the next six laps before executing a faultless overtaking manoeuvre on the race leader Conor Cummins.

"The start was really messy as we all piled into Hawthorn's and I thought I had hit somebody at one point, I managed to get through and realised I had a fair bit of work to do," commented the elated Bridewell. "I saw quite a few people go out on the first lap and took it a bit steady. It is a fantastic feeliඣng to do the treble and win my first points scoring R6 Cup race."

Second-placed Cummins was equally pleased with his p☂erformance and his second rostrum of the season.

"Finally back on the podium," exclaimed Cummins. "It has been a long haul getting back, after I broke my ankle at Oulton Park earlier in the year so I'm absolutely delighted with the second place and the 20 points; esp🌸ecially as I have never raced here before."

Third placed finisher wa🃏s Mark Pollock. The Irish racer was delighted with his best points scoring result of the seas꧋on.

"I got a fair start and saw a good few boys going out on the first lap and a few more during the race," he satd. "On the final few laps I wanted to cha🃏llenge for second but thought I would settle for the 16 points that come with third rather than none at all. It is a tricky circuit here and I had a brilliant race."

While the lucky three riders celebrated on top of the rostrum, many limped home on foot as the demanding North Yorkshire circuit tested the R6 Cup riders to the max as many, although unscathe💮d, crashed out of t🌼he race.

Current series leader Richard Wren l🍸ost his bike at the hairpin on the second lap, cost🌸ing him 15 places. The London-based racer rejoined the pack in 20th and finally finished in 12th, scoring four points.

Three-times winner Adam Jenkinson executed 'save of the day' when he was highsided at the Complex section of the track. Despite being unseated the Mancunian racer, who recently broke his pelvis at Knockhill, managed to keep a hold of his bike finally bringing it to a stop whilst kneeling ♔beside it. Like Wren the tenacious rider rejoined the pack, and finished in fifth place.
