Jason Plato says he is hopeful of a strong display from the SEAT L💮eon when the Dunlop MSA British 🅘Touring Championship heads to Oulton Park this weekend for the third meeting of the season.

The new car proved to be quick at both Brands Hatch and Mondello Park as SEAT took the early lead in both the teams' and manufacturers' titles but the sweeping high-speed nature of the Oulton Park circuit was believed to not favou✅r the shape of the Leon.

However, while he admitted tha🐼t certain parts of the Cheshire venue will work against the Leon, former champion Plato said he felt that any good result 𒁃could be on the cards this weekend.

"I love racing𝐆 a﷽t Oulton Park because it's got some great corners and there are plenty of overtaking opportunities, and this year with the new Leon I think we've got a great chance to do really well," he said.

"The circuit has a lot of fast flowing corners that rewards a good chassis, and the Leon certainly has a good chassis. There are two uphill sections though, one out of Island Hairpin and one out of the Knickerbrook chicane, which won't suit our car. We📖'll🔯 struggle at those parts of the track, but hopefully we can make up time on the other parts of the circuit.

"Overall I'm confident that we'll be in good shape and I'm really 💮looking forward to it."
