Citroen DS 3 WRC runner Stephane Lefebvre has cras🐟hed out of Rallye Deutschland in the fearsome 40.80km Panzerplatte Lang test.

According to the official WRC site the Frenchman went off a🧜t the 12.4km point♛. The medical team was then deployed and the stage was stopped.

Lefebvre and co-driver Gabin Moreau were both injured in the incident and were later take🔴n conscious to hospital.

A statement on🥃 the Rallye Deutschland web♍site reads:

"During th𓆉e Deutschland෴ Rallye, an incident occurred on SS 10. The car with starting number 10 slid off the road. Driver and co-driver were injured. Medical staff are on site and provided assistance. No spectators were involved in the incident. The stage was stopped and the competitors will be making their way back to Trier.

"As soon as further information is 𓄧available, this wi🥂ll be published immediately."

Lefebvre had been running sixth overall.
