After a breakthrough campaign in 2014 by making the Showdown with Quattro Plant Kawasaki, L🎃infoot secured a ride with the returning Honda Racing squad and instantly demonstrated he had a titleꦬ-fighting package at the season opener, taking fourth and second place at Donington Park.
However, Linfoot's 2015 came crashing to a halt after breaking his wrist during practice at the second round at Brands Hatch, ruling him out of the next two rounds. With considerable ground to catch up and a wrist still on the mend Linfoot struggled to replica🐷te his first round form with just three 🌳podium finishes in the remainder of the season.
Scrapping into the Showdown after collecting the required handful of points to leapfrog the inju⛦red Stuart Easton, Linfoot's patchy form failed to pose a serious threat at the front.
A combination of poor set-up and a bold but ultimately brash tyre choice at Assen saw the Yorksh✅ire rider leave the Netherlands with just two points from two races and tumble out of the title race.
Despite his frustrations, another step-by-step improvement at Silverstone saw him return to the podium and also claimed a respectable fourth place in the final 🐽race of the year at Brands Hatch to secure a second consecuti🥃ve fifth place finish in the overall BSB riders' standings.
It has proven enoug🐓h to keep his place in the Honda Racing set-up for 2016 and collect him enough ꧅votes to hold on to a top ten place in our readers' poll.
