Manx Grand Prix: Dutch newcomer killed in practice

A Dutch newcomer has died following an incident during Wednesday's Manx Grand Prix practic♛e seౠssion on the Isle of Man.
A statement issued by the organisers on Thursday morning said: "The Manx Motor Cycle Club, organisers of the Manx Grand Prix, regret to announce that D꧟ennis Hoffer, 42, from Hoogkarspel in Holland, was killed in an incident near the 13th Milestone during last night's Manx Grand Prix qualifying session on the Isle of Man.
"Hoffer, who was single, was a newcomer to the Mountain Course. He h♎as been a regular racer on European circuits since 2009.
"T𒆙he Manx Motor Cycle Club wishes to extend its deepest sympathy to Dennis's family and friends."
Wednesday's s☂ession was red flagged due to Mr Hoffer's accident and another, ♛unconnected incident near the 13th Milestone.
Ke💝n Davis came off at the same sect♔ion of the Mountain Course and is described as being in a comfortable condition.
The session 🙈was later cancelled due to the length of time required to clear the sceꦬne and deteriorating weather conditions.
