Experienced Isle of Man TT rider Gary Carswell has died after an ac꧙cident at a race meeting at Jurby on the island.

The 46-year-old was taken to Nobl🦂e's Hospital with serious injuries bad sadly passed away despite the best𝄹 efforts of medical staff.

Mr Carswell finished third in the 2004 Senior TT behind Bruce Anstey and race winner Adrian Archibald in one of his best ever performances at the event. He also won the Senior Man⛎x Grand Prix in 1997.

Gary leaves behind a wife, Lisa and daughter Amy.

An inv🍃estigation into the accident has been launched.
