Former F1 star David Coulthard was treated to a ride in Elfyn Evan's Ford Fiesta RS♔ World Rally Car on the streets of Monꦡaco ahead of this season's WRC opening round.

The ex-Williams, McLaren and Red Bull🦹 driver was astounded at how quickly Evans could take the Monaco roads despite having raced around the saꦿme streets during his career.

"I went i💜nto the car with the belief that rally drivers are the best in the worlꦓd," Coulthard said. "I've been driven around a forest stage before, but to do it on Tarmac around corners I know was just incredible."

"Eಌlfyn [Evans] was super smooth and committed - contending with constant changes of grip from dry to wet Tarmac - and he did it with much more speed than I thought possible. He's a great young talent and I wish him a great start to the championship."

Coulthard, who has two Monaco Grand Prix victories to his name, was joined by MotoGP rookie Eugene Laverty and Welsh♒ songstress Elin Fflur who all got a go in the co-driver's seat of♈ Evan's rally car.
