Updated: D꧙ucati has announced that Cal Crutchlow's Austin MotoGP hand injuries are not as bad as first feared.

After being taken to the medical centre with a suspected broken hand, the Eng🐎lishman has been dﷺiagnosed with a dislocated little finger:

Crutchlow had earlier pitted for a new rear tyre and was running in last place when he suffered the big fall at turn two, on lap 13 of 21.

The Englishman immediat♊elꦛy removed his glove and began checking his right hand, before being carried away on a stretcher. Crutchlow will now aim to be fit for the new event in Argentina on April 25-27.

There was better news on the other side of the garage with team-mate Andrea Dovizioso claiming his and Ducati's first podi🌌um since 2012.
