Karel Abraham will not start this aftཧernoon's Indianapolis MotoGP due to injuries from Friday practic🅠e.

The Cardion AB Aprilia rider doubts he could last the distance and will instead♊ rest his shoulder ahead of his home Czech Republic round next weekend.

Chief mechanic Marco Grana said:

"Karel tried to make today?s warm-up without painkillers and he was almost unable to ride more that three laps in a row because of pain. And even in these🔴 laps we were almost a half second slower than penultimate rider. Under this condition there is no sense to race. We'll do everything to get Karel in better condition before home race in Brno."

"We t♋ried it and under this condition it makes no sense, especially with Brno that is the most important race of the season from our point of view," confirmed Abraham. "It is going to be very tough anyway, because it's been two days since I have crashed and I don't feel any better.

"The bigg😼est problem remains my shoulder, which limits me a lot in any movement on the bike. Thus I have to hope and believe that I get better with help of doctors and physiotherapy that I will be hundred percent ok in Brno or even close to this condition."

Abraham joins Ben Spi🐷es in withdrawing ཧfrom the event due to injury.
