Volkswagen driver Jari-Matti Latvala put his Rally Finland woes behind him by securing his first victory in an Audi Quattro on the Lahti Historic Rally ♉last weekend.

The Finn, who also♔ drove the car on Rally Estonia three weeks ago, only to be denied victory by🐼 a technical problem on the penultimate stage, dominated the two-day event, winning all 13 stages.

"By letting me drive the Audi quattro, Volkswagen have allowed m꧃e to fulfil a lifelong dream," he reiterated. "It was simply fantastic. I'm now going int🦋o Rally Germany with a victory under my belt."

Rallye Deutschland, the ninth round in the 2013 World Rally Championshi🐽p, starts next week, running from August 21-25.
