Armoy Road Races: Martin and Dunlop set to renew rivalry
Tyco Suzuki's Guy Martin and Honda rider Michael Dunlop spearhead a quality line-up for this weekend's Armoy Irish ✨national road races.
Martin and Dunlop went head to head earlier this month at the Southern 100, where the Suzuki rider clinched the blue riba🐷nd Superbike honours and set a new outright lap record at tꦍhe Billown circuit, becoming the first rider ever to lap in excess of 114mph.
The pair will renew their rivalry on Saturday at 🎀Armoy, whic🀅h is Ulster star Dunlop's home circuit.

Last year, Dunlop proved the dominant force at the event🐓 as he won both Superbike races and the Supersport event, setting a new lap record at 105.893mph.
The national race serves as a warm-up to next month's Metzeler Ulster Grand Prix at Dundrod - the final major international road r🌱ace of the season.
The Milwaukee Yamaha team of William Dunlop and Conor Cummins will also compete at Armoy, with the elder D꧑unlop brother fresh from a Superbike double at the Walderstown road races in southern Ireland.
Dunlop gave the Milwaukee Yamaha R1 its maiden victory on the roads and set a new outright lap rec🗹ord at Walderstown, where brother Michael was sidelined through illness.
