The rookie held on as he ran over the kerb and onto the gravel during the downhill plunge, in༺ what was almost a carbon copy of Rossi's 2008 pass on 🐠Casey Stoner.

After taki꧅ng second place from Rossi, Marquez went on to catch and pass Stefan Bradl for victory, extending his Champiꦍonship lead.
