MotoGP title leader Dani Pedrosa will miss Saturday's qualifying ses♕sion for the German Gr꧟and Prix.

The Repsol Honda star was flown to hospital for further checks after a huge morning high🐲side at th♒e Sachsenring.

The results of those tests are not yet known, but the official MotoGP website has confirmed: "Dani Pedrosa awaits results of latest medical checks at Chemnitz hospital and will miss this afternoon's qualify🎃ing session."

Medical Centre X-ray๊s had reduced initial fears of a broken collarbone and attention seemed to switch to a possible concussion.

If he is fit, Pedrosa would be🍸 able to start from twelfth on the grid despite missing qu⛄alifying, due to his free practice time granting him an automatic place in Q2.

Pedrosa suffered his accident just one day after nearest title rival Jorge Lorenzo withdrew after re-damaging his newly broken collarbone. Pedrosa leads the standings by ni🧔ne point from reigning champion Lorenzo, with Pedrosa's team-mate Marc Marquez 23 points from the top.

Lorenzo underwent collarbone surgery, fo𝓰r the second time in two weeks, in Barcelona this ꧋morning.
