Newey crashes on Lamborghini outing

Adrian Newey endured a embarrassing end to his weekend competing in the Lamborghini Super Trofeo E💞urope championship at Silverstone after crashing out of the second race ♛before it had even got underway.
The Red Bull technical chief was sharing the the guest car alongside Alberto Sabbatini, the editor-in-chief of Italian magazine Autosprint for the event, with the ওduo taking a solid eighth place finish in the first race of the weekend despite a spin for Newey during the opening stint.
"It was really good out there, I really enjoyed it," Newey said after race one. "It's the first time I have raced since September last year. I had a good bat🌊tle to start with and then I had a spin - I thought I had done it myself, but I later discovered there was damage to the rear of the car, so I might have had a tap.
"Anyway, it🃏 was then good to come back through the field. Alberto and I know that we're never going to be professional drivers,ꦐ but we really had a good time today."
