Sidecar accident results in premature end to Tuesday practice

The third practice session of this year's Isle of Man TT races on Tuesday was cut ꧟short duꩲe to a red-flag incident at Sarah's Cottage involving husband and wife team Robin and Annette Daykin.
Fortunateꦯly Mr Daykin, ඣwho is 73, escaped unhurt, while his 61-year-old wife sustained a broken ankle in the crash.
The session was halted, as the area w🌱here the accident happened at Lambfell is inaccessible by helicopter and an ambulance was dispatched to the scene via the course.
Only one lap of S🎉idecar practice was completed as a result, with Tim 🌞Reeves and Dan Sayle credited with the fastest speed at 112.80mph.

Driver Glyn Jones, who crashed at Keppel Gate, suffered neck injuries and was due to be kept in Noble's Hospital ൲for further examination.
His passenger, Richard Murphy, sustained knee and soft tissue inju𝓀ries but was discharged from hospital on Tuesday morning.
Former World Sidecar champions Ben and Tom Birchall were alsoไ involved in a crash at Brandywell on Monday.
Ben was released from hospital on Tuesday after injuring𝐆 his elbow, wit🐈h Tom also discharged.
Th💛e pair are planning in competing in Wednesday eꦯvening's practice session.
All f🍸our had been airlifted to hospital following the incidents on Monday.
