Williams F1 chief operations engineer Mark Gillan has 🍬confirmed that the final team member injured in the garage fire in Barcelona has now been flown back to the UK.

Despite suffering reported burns to 15 percent of his body, 50-year-old Martin Betts ꦏis said to be in a 'stable condition' and in 'good spirits'.

He will now 👍continue to be treated in Britain having been discharged from the burns unit of Barcelona's Vall d'Hebron hospital.

"I would like to reiterate our thanks to everyone in the paddock who helped the Williams team on Sunday to control the fire. There were a number of people who atte💎nded the circuit medical centre, mostly as the result of smoke inhalation. One team member remains in hospital having suffere⛎d burns, but he is in a stable condition and in good spirits and has returned to England today for further medical care," Gillan confirmed in the teams official post-race review.

Investigations intℱo the cause of the fire, which꧙ halted the teams' celebrations after Pastor Maldonado's victory, meanwhile remain ongoing.

"The extent of the damage is still being accessed and will not become fully c﷽lear until both the cars and equipment have returned to the factory," Gillan addedꦬ.

"What is clear is that our garage IT e✤quipme✃nt and infrastructure have been badly damaged."

Despite all that though, he added that the G༒rove-based outfit will still go to the Principality in two weeks time buoyed by their form on track at the Circu꧑it de Catalunya.

"On the back of the win in Spain we go to Monaco with high hopes but there is a prodigious amount of work to be d🐓one prior to the event to recover from 🥃the fire," he summed-up.
