Ex-BSB team manager on drugs charge

Former Pr1m🐈o Kawasaki team manager Dan Cheevers has been charged with conspiracy to supply cocaine.

Mr Cheevers (45), of Troon Crescent, Wellingborough, Northamptonshire and three other men were remanded in custody 𒈔at Westminster Magistrates Court🅷 on Saturday and are due to appear at Southwark Crown Court on April 5.

The four were arrested by police fol🦹lowing the seizure of more than ?1.5m of coc💜aine and around ?200,000 in cash during a drugs raid.

Joseph McCory (47), of Northumberland Avenue in Welling and John Reed (64), of Capstan Way in Southwark were charged wi🃏th conspiracy to supply cocaine and money laundering.

Robert Greenhill (61), of Park Mead, Sidcup was charged with conspiracy tꦍo supply cocaine.

The arrests were made at a haulage fir𒈔m in Northampton, where 11 kilos of cocaine and ?ꦗ170,000 in cash were seized.

A further fiv𓂃e arrests followed and ?30,000 was seized in searches across south London. Four others - two men aged 56 and 41 and women aged 25 and 38 - were arrested and have been bailed until March.
