Silverstone launched 'The Hypersonic' passenger experience this week, offering members of the public the chance to experience a lap of tꦅhe British Grand Prix circuit in a custom-built two-seater race car.

The car, a 3.7 litre V6 Ford Cyclone Hypersonic, is capable of accelerating from 🌠0-62🐬 mph in just three seconds and has a top speed of 150mph. Furthermore, participants don't need to have passed their driving test to experience this 'ultimate adrenaline rush', as they will be taken for a lap by a professional driver.
