Colin Edwards has been diagnosed with a broken right collarbone after a fall in Fr🙈iday practice for the Catalan MotoGP.
It means thi🦩s weekend's MotoGP field is down to just 15 riders, with home hero Dani Pedrosa also absent after also breaking a collarbone, during a controversial clash with Marco Simoncelli, at the previous Le Mans round.
Monster Yꦬamaha Tech🍎 3 rider Edwards has not missed a MotoGP race since his 2003 debut.
Both Edwards and Pedrosa are also unlikely to be fit for next weekend's Briti🎃sh Grand Prix at Silverston💎e.
