Hamilton now has 145 points, ex💜tending his advantage over his McLaren teamꦿ-mate, Jenson Button, who is his nearest rival, from six points post-Valencia to twelve ahead of the trip to Hockenheim.

Mark Webber moves up to third in the standings, after🍨 his third win of the year, ahead of his team-mate, Sebastian Vettel, who 🍬recovered to take P7 after picking up a puncture at the start. Fernando Alonso stays fifth in the standings despite not scoring.

In t📖he Constructors' championship, McLaren remains comfortably ahea🍎d of Red Bull, although the Milton Keynes-based outfit does cut the gap slightly from 30 points to 29.
