The #1 Peugeot has lost the le🐬ad of the Le Mans 24 Hours after being forced to make an unscheduled stop for an alternator change.

Ma🀅rc Gene returned to ⛄the pits just three laps after making a stop with the car being wheeled back into the garage immediately.

The team worked hard to replace the alternator before Gene rejoined but only after losing four laps and drop🍸ping doಌwn to seventh place.

F🍌ranck 🌄Montagny now leads in the #2 car with the Oreca 908 in second place.

Meanwhile, the GT2 fight has also taken a twist, with the Risi F𒉰errari in the garage with a gearbox i🍌ssue. The car had been fighting for the class lead with the leading Corvette.
