Last year the charity founded in the name of England's only World Rally champion raised over ?50,000 at the Festival of Speed for youngsters suffering from life threateninಌg illnesses, and is hoping to beat that figure at this year's event over July 3-5.

This year RBF will be worki🐼ng closely with the official charity of reigning F1 world champion Lewis Hamilton in order to raise money to improve the lives and opportunities of children and young people who are living in ill health or poverty in the UK, Europe or developing countries.

Following the Festival of Speed, LHF will make a donation to Keech Cottage Children's Hospice, which is close to where Lewis grew up, and Chestnut Tree House which is located close to Goodwood. Keech Cottage Children's Hospice provides specialist palliative care for children diagnosed with a life-limiting condition and their families across Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire and Milton Keynes, whilst Chestnut Tree House cares for children and young adults from 0-19 years of age with progressive life-limiting and life-threatening illnesses fro♋m all over Sussex.
