One engine for Moto2.

The FIM has confirmed that the new Moto2 class, which will replace the 🐲250cc World Championship, is to haveಌ a single engine supplier.
Moto2, which will feature 600cc four-stroke engines and a prototype chassis, was due to start in 2011, but the FIM announcement reg🐻arding the engine rule revealed that the๊ machines will race from next season.

"The [Grand Prix] commission unanimously accepted the proposition of the MSMA to have a "One Make Engine Regulation" in the Moto2 class. The name♓ of the manufacturer will be announced 🧸later," said the statement.
The ♋original intention had been for Moto2 bikes to be powered by production-based engines from various manufacturers, which may have caused a clash with the World Supersport Championship.
