"I'd like to thank my sponsor Trust International and [Arden team🦄 boss] Christian Horner for the support and c▨onfidence [I have been shown]. Hopefully, we will get maximum points and achievable results in the next races."

Horner, who also oversees the Red Bull Racing grand prix operation, said that there was little delay in appointing F3 graduate Buurm꧅an as Khan's replacement alongside Sebas𒊎tien Buemi.

"When Yelmer was in the car for the first time in Dubai, t🦄he team was really excited," he admitted, "He was immediately very quick and competitive. When we heard that Adam Khan had chosen to focus on A1GP, it was an easy decision to give Yelmer the chance to race in the Asia Series in order to be well prepared for the GP2 main series.

"We are delighted to have such a strong driver line-up and to have the backing of Trust International, which will help us to be a fro꧅ntrunner in 2008. I would like to thank Adam Khan for his support to the team and wish him all the best for his caree𝄹r."
