Twenty-year-old Canadian Sea﷽n McIntosh steps from representing Team Canada in the A1GP series to competing in the World Series by Renault this weekend in the opening two rounds of the Championship at Zolder.

McIntosh turned heads in the Br🥀itish Formula Renault Championship in 2004, claiming a maiden win the series and Rookie of the Year honours, before moving forward last year and taking five wins and finishing second in the Champi💛onship.

"I'm really looking forward to the new season," enthused the young Canadian, "I'm new to Zolder but I've studied the layout of the track and ꧅raced 💦it on the PlayStation but there's no substitute for the real thing."

So far, McIntosh has shown good pace in testing, heading up the timeshee⛦ts in the last pre-season test at the Nurburgring, and the season opener i🍌n Zolder will be his debut outing at the Belgian circuit.

"I've heard it's a challenging track," said McIntosh, "pre-season testing went pretty well but 🏅we know we have to be straight on it this weekꦦend. As a nine-round championship you just can't afford to have an off weekend in the World Series!"
