Seton who along with 2005 team co-driver Luke Youlden will step into one of the acclaimed Stone Brothers Racing Falcon♋s at the two endurance races of the V8 Su﷽percar Championship.
A former V8 Supercar Champion (and the first of the current formula), Seton 💃will drive with Courtney in the #4 Jeld Wen Racing BF Falcon. Having never won at Bathurst in his illustrious and exte♑nsive Touring Car career, Seton is looking forward to the opportunity to seal a debut win at Mount Panorama.
"Teaming up with SBR has provided me with a great opportuni𝐆ty to achieve my ultimate goal, which is to win Bathurst," sa🌌id Seton.
"To be sharing a car with an exceptional young-blood like James and working with a team that has a fantastic history, including three consecutive championship wins,💙 I really couldn't ask for more."
Reigning Champion Russell Ingall will once again be partnered by 2005 co-driver Luke Youlden. Having being forced to overcome many obstacles and run-ins with the judicial system at the 2005 Super Cheap Auto 1000, it was a testament to the duo's excellent driving skills at Bathurst that earned theꦡm a top ten finish.
"For me, it's a bit of a feather in the cap to be asked back again to do the endurance dr💖ives with SBR," said ๊Youlden.
"I'm really happy about that and extremely pleased to be involved with the best team in Australia. Being paired with Russe🧸ll again is grea𒁃t, we got along really well last year and I learnt so much from him so it will be great to continue that association."
The o🥂ption to sign Seton, who was left drive-less when dumped by former team Dick Johnson Racing at the end 🍬of 2004, was one that could not be left to get away according to team boss Ross Stone.
"We have a good mix of youth and experience with James and Russell in the team and that is working really well for SBR right now," said💞 Stone.
"Signing Glenn and Luke for the enduros means that we can maintain that balanc🐼e in each car and get the most out of our drivers.
"Jimmy (Stone) and I have always admired Glenn. He is a toug෴h competitor and we feel that James will really benefit from his experience in endurance races."
With the sprint championship ge♈tting underway in just over a month's time in Adelaide, Seton is also set to replace Warren Luff as driver of the Stone Brothers Racing 3-seater ride car - which will operate throughout various Australian locations during 2006.
Meanwhile regular drivers Ingall and Courtney will contest all thirteen rounds of the championship that will this year feature reverse-grid♏ races.
All four SBR drivers will be on hand at th🎀e Yatala squad's annual Open day at the team's headquarters - an occasion which will also feature the unveiling of the teꦦam's two BF Falcons for the 2006 Championship.
