A damp track surface greeted the team upon arrival, adding to the⭕ strong winds that gusted across the 3.12km circuit throughout the day, making testing conditions far from ideal. However, each of the team's Ford Falcons completed approximately 150 laps, leaving co-owner Ross Stone pleased with developments.
"It has been a while since we last tested, so we had a plan that tar๊geted a number of goals," he revealed, "I am pleased to say t𒐪hat we achieved them all, and then some.
"Overnight rain made the track pretty damp in the morning, and the wind didn't let up for most of the day, but, de💝spite the conditions, the improvement in both cars was clearly visible. The team has been working hard over the past few months to continue our momentum and stay ahead 🎃of the pack and I think, today, we have seen some reward for this hard work which gives us confidence entering our home event next weekend."
Regular pilots Marcos Ambrose and Russe🍨ll Ingall were joined by𝔉 the team's two endurance drivers, Warren Luff and Luke Youlden, who both completed several stints behind the wheel of the Pirtek Falcon and Caltex Ford respectively.
