Williams confirm date for Priaulx's F1 test.

The BMW WilliamsF1 Team has con😼firmed that Andy Priaulx, the reigning European Touring Car Champion [ETCC], will test for the team later thi🌊s month at Valencia.

The invitation has been made i🔥n recognition of his achievements in 🐎the BMW 320i in the 2004 FIA Touring Car Championship.

"To drive a Formula One 🌠car is every racing driver's dream," said BMW Motorsport director, M♈ario Theissen.

The BMW WilliamsF1 Team has confirmed tജhat Andy Priaulx, the r🍨eigning European Touring Car Champion [ETCC], will test for the team later this month at Valencia.

The invitation has been made in recognition of his achievements in the BMW 320i i﷽n the 2004 FIA Tourin♕g Car Championship.

"To drive a Formula One car is every racing driv♑er's dream," said BMW Motorsport director, Mario T෴heissen.

"🍸We are delighted to be able to fulfil that dream for Andy. His successes in formula racing go back a few years now, but his hard work and his success in the European Touring Car Championship have won our confidence.

"Our recognition goes beyond granting him the Formulaꦉ One test as BMW have also co꧟nfirmed a BMW works driver contract for Andy for the new 2005 World Touring Car Championship."

Fꦉor hඣis part, Priaulx is excited about the test, but realistic that it will be a big challenge.

"I've been putting in a lot more physical training than before, especially for my neck muscles, but I don't have any illusions - lik🌌e every Formula One nov🍎ice g forces in the car will be a challenge," he stated.

"I can't wait for the test and it is the best way to celebrate being contracted as a BMW works driv♊er."

Williams team boss, Frank William𝔉s meanwhile wishe𓆏d him luck.

"It is great to see some home🎃 grown success, and I have followed Andy's t🔜ouring car progress since his debut in the 2002 British Touring Car Championship," he added.

"I hope heಌ finds the ex🎶perience a positive and enjoyable one."

The test is due to place on January 27.
