Jenson Button ꧙will have a new manager this coming season, after John Byfield was ousted from his 🐷position as boss of Essentially Sport.

Byfield was the man responsible for Button's ill-attempted move to Williams, which was blocked by F1's Contract Recognition Board [CRB], which ruled in favour of BAR, the team the Englis🌜hman will drive for in 2005.

It is believed that Button's decision to extend his contract with Essentially Sport for another three years' was dependent on confirmation that Byfield would leave his p♋osition as chief executive and chairman.

Byfield's role will ♛b♈e taken over by director, Duncan Hickman in the short term, until a permanent replacement is made.

"I am delighted to announce that the company has signed a new three-year commercial agreement with Jenson Button," Hickman told British newspaper, The Independent.

"John [Byfield] has done a🔜n excellent job as CEO and chairman and, in particular, has established the group as one of the market leading management companies.

"We have identified𝓰 the candidate who has been selected to succ𓂃eed John and we hope to announce their appointment shortly."
