Both Team Betta Electrical V8 Supercar drivers Max Wilson and Paul Radisich made a lunge 🐠late in the qualifying session at Pukekohe to position their cars 7th and 8th on the grid respectively for Saturday's🤪 race one in the three race event of round 3 of the V8 Supercar Championship.

Rain held off for most of the day🌃, offering pleasant sunshine for botᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ𒀱ᩚᩚᩚh practice sessions and the qualifying period.

"This is the start we have been hoping for", said Roland Dane, team owner of Triple Eight Race Engineering. "Both cars and drivers are well prepared and we are looking forward to a successful weekend here at Pukekohe Park Raceway."

Paul Radisich has been fine tuning his performance for this race on his home track. He is now 'on track' for a good outcome whe𝔍n 🉐the racing proper gets underway tomorrow.

Radisich managed 14th and 10th place respectively in the early practice rounds today, despite the first s🙈ession being red-flagged half-way through the 35-minute session after Brad Jones in his Ozemail Falcon spun off at the end of the back s🥃traight.

Team Better Electrical ꦉdriver Max Wilson, also performed well in b𝔉oth practice sessions and qualifying, this being only his third appearance at Pukekohe Park Raceway.

Wilson experienced a few minor setting up problems with his car #888 in the early⛄ practice round this morning but they were soon rectified as he went through in 7th and 18🔜th fastest times respectively in the practice sessions.

"I am very pleased with the car, as usual we spent the practice sessions setting up the cars suspension for this particular circuit and again it has paid dividends," comไmented𓆉 Wilson.

"I rather like thi♔s circuit as it can be quite fast although there aren't a lot of places to p🍌ass".

"It should be a g🦄reat race weekend and I'm really looking forward to race one of 36 laps tomorrow," the Brazilian concluded.

Paul Radisich has some particular targets for this weekend. "I feel quite at home here, I h🐲ave spent a lot of time racing at this circuit with considerable success over the years and I trust the success will continue on this w⛦eekend," explains the Kiwi. "I would really like to win this round and knock 'Murph' off his perch, we can't let him continue to dominate this round."
