Alan van der Merwe's form continued in the two 20 minute morning practice sessions at Knockhill today with his fasteꦦst lap of 47.37secs close to Courtney's lap record of 47.22s.

Conditions were not ideal. Although the winds which caused devastation in the paddock on𒁏 Wednesday night have diminished, it is sti🌠ll windy on the hill top and overcast with the threat of rain.

Next fastest was Robert Dahlgren on a 47.🌳4෴24s and Rob Austin on 47.509s.

Although Carlin's Richard Antinucci was clearly settled in, recording s🌊ixth fastest time, his team-mates Jamie Green and Ronnie Bremer were running ninth and 13th fastest overall.

However, Green is getting used to the circuit and the cool Dane kno🤪ws that today'𒐪s times count for little. Bremer's speed here last season when he took the front row in both races is proof of his potential and it is doubtful that he will be kept out of the top six places when qualifying starts tomorrow.
