Premier League bosses have scrapped the Young Shield Play-off competition to cope with an increasing fixture sch☂edule.
The addition of the British League Cup and an increase of three clubs over the past two years has left clubs with a pa☂cked progra🅘mme.
British Spe🌌edway vice-chairman Peter Too𝓀good said: "We all re-visited our proposed competitions for next season and it was agreed that something had to give."
