The British team, 🥃which had been running in the top five with Collins at the wheel, thought it had lost the sister #21 car early on, after Scott Maxwell skidded off the flooded track at the Tertre Rouge esses. The Canadian had only just recovered from a similar incident at Arnage, and repaired to the pits for attention. However, concerted work on the car co-driven by Klaas Zwart and Xavier Pompidou eventually allowed the Frenchman to return to the fray. The car is 135 laps adrift of the leaders.
Sadly, despite receiving ins👍tructions over the pit-to-car radio, Collins was unable to repair the #20 car after it became stranded out on the Mulsanne, and the entry was offi༺cially withdrawn by the team in the 15th hour.
