MCE Brit💝ish Superbike race winner Jake Dixon will make his Moto2 world championship debut at the British MotoGP round at Sil♊verstone.

The 21-year-old rider, who is currently challenging for a top six Showdown spot in BSB, has be🔴en given permission from his RAF Reserves Kawasaki squad to join up with the Dynavolt team for his maiden outing in Moto2 for the Silverstone round – joining fellow British rider Tarran Mackenzie who joined the sꩲeries from the British Supersport championship last May.

RAF Reserves Kawasaki team boss Lee Hardy says he’s proud to be able to give Dixon the opportunity, who also wဣildcarded in the British round ꧙of World Superbikes in May, but expects the youngster to be fully focused on his Showdown push this weekend at Cadwell Park.

“Jake has really shown what he is capable of in the British Championship this season and it is a testament to our team and all of our sponsors involved that h🔜e has been head hunted for this Moto2 appearance,” Hardy said. “As a private team we are proud that we have put a package underneath Jake this year that has allowed him to showcase hﷺis ability and prove to others he has what it takes to go to the top.

“Jake has the full support of the team, the Royal Air Force, Briggs Equipment, Mother Hubbard’s and everyone else involved ahead of the event and we will be there to support him as we would at any other race▨ meeting.

“Jake is still fully focused on fighting for a place in the Showdown and that continues this weekend at Cadwell Park and then of course ཧthe Title Fighter deciding round at Silverstone next month.”

Dixo🦂n will take on round eight of the 2017 BSB championship at Cadwell Park the week before his Moto2 debut at Silverstone and then return to action at the same circuit of the final round before the BSB Showdown comes into play in September.
