The team's brake manufacturer acknowledges that there was an (unspecified) i🌊ssue 'connected to the braking system', which has been 'identified and resolved':
"In relation to what happened to the rider Jorge Lorenzo of Ducati Team during the Qatar MotoGP Grand Prix, Brembo is really disappointed that the withdrawal of the rider during the lap 12 w🔴as caused by an issue connected to the braking system.
"At the end of accurate anꦬalysis of our technicians, we confirm that the issue has been identified and resolved so that this anomaly can’t recur."
ౠLorenzo was holding tenth place when the accident occurred, in a race won byꦍ his team-mate Andrea Dovizioso.
Round two of th☂e 2018 season takes place in Argentina t𓃲his weekend.
