Byrne set for vertebrae surgery after Snetterton crash
Shane Byrne’s B🍬e Wiser Ducati squad has confirmed the six-time Bennetts British Superbike champion will undergo sur♒gery after his fall during the Snetterton test and is expected to make a full recovery.
The defending BSB champion crashed on his third lap of the opening session at the Snetterton test at Turn 3 which saw the session red flagged. Byrne was treated at the track medical centre before being transported by aಞmbulance to hospital.

The 41-year-old currently sits third in the BSB riders’ c෴hampionship with one win and two further rostrums from the opening three rounds of th🎐e 2018 campaign.
