Crash Media Group, owners of brands mahbx.com the largest digital motorsport brand in the UK and Visordown.com the largest digital brand in Motorcycling in the UK, is look❀ing to recruit a full-time junior online journalist.

The role will cover a wide v𓃲ariety of responsibilities: breaking news, features, interviews, race reports and results all with speed and accuracy. You may also be required to🐈 attend events in the UK and abroad.

Th🥃e major focus of the role will be w🎃orking as part of the mahbx.com editorial team covering the World Superbike championship, the British Superbike championship plus other two-wheeled motorsport including MotoGP, while the role will also provide a spectrum of opportunities and roles at Visordown.com.

Main responsibilities

• Cover breaking news from the motorsport world on a wi🎃de variety of topiܫcs
• Produce in-depth♎ and engaging feature 🌼pieces for both current news and evergreen content
• Create exciting social media strategies🥂 and campaigns across Facebo𒈔ok, Twitter, Instagram and others
• Conduct interviews with a variet𒐪y of motorsport figures to produce written and video content
• Work within different editorial💜 teams cover🌳ing a multitude of events
• Covering breaking news from theಞ motorcycle and road bike industry
• Reviewing motorcycles, equipment and gear
• Provide orಌiginal and engaging content ideas in editorial meetings as well as being a proactive journal🍌ist
• Efficient in a multimedia role working🎉 across 🐓video, online and graphics
• Be able to travel to motor🌳sport events when required

Ideal Candidate Requirements

• Experience in journalism or appropriate PR work
• The ability to gene🀅rate wide-ranging content to a high quality with speed and acc💮uracy
• An excelleꦓnt understanding and application on soci𒊎al media
• A valid motorcycle license
• An interest in a wide range of moto💦rsport and the motorc💜ycle industry

Preferred:

• Degree in journalism, media or equivalent
• Ex𝓀perience with email maꦉrketing campaigns and mailchimp
