Blundell Nazareth crash - update.
Mark Blundell has app𝄹arently escaped seri𓂃ous injury after crashing out of the Nazareth CART round.
The Englishman collided with Penske's Helio Castro-Neves in Turn One of the Pennsylvania circuit, scattering bodywork and mechanicals from both car𝓰s across a wide section of track. Although Castro-Neves was able to recount his side of the incident to reporters in the pits, Blundell had to be helped from his PacWest-run car, and was taken to the circuit's medical centre.

Thankfully, the official CART Radio Network broadca﷽st from Nazareth has reported that Blundell escaped the impact with heavy bruising to his upper back, and should be released from the hospital before the end of the race.
