RC Enerson will ꦕreturn to the NTT IndyCar Series driving for Carlin Racing inඣ this weekend’s Honda Indy 200 at the Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course.

The 22-year-old from New Port Richey, Florida made his IndyCar debut at the 2.258-mile road course in 2016 when he drove for Dale Coyne Racing. He made two more starts later ♒that yea🧜r and scored a best finish of ninth at Watkins Glen but hasn't raced in IndyCar since.

En🌺erson most recently tested for Carlin at IndyCar’s spring training se🍬ssion held in February at the Circuit of the Americas.

“RC really impressed us at Spring Training at COTA at the beginning of the season, and we were very hopeful that something could come together at some point that would put him back in the car,” said Team Principal Trevor Carlin. “RC has spent a lot of time with our team this ⭕season and he has quite a bit of experience at Mid-Ohio, including an INDYCAR start a few years back, so he should be able to jump right back in and make the transition a smooth one.”

Enerson also competed in the USF2000 ch🍬ampionship from 2012-2014 before moving up to the Indy Lights presented by Cooper Tires series in 2015ღ. He notched a win at Mid-Ohio in Indy Lights in 2015 and recorded five additional podiums from 2015-16 before jumping ship to IndyCar.

“Itꦉ’s really great to be back driving with Carlin after completing Spring Training earlier this season with the team,” he said. “We’ve been working really hard to get something together to get me back in the seat at 🉐some point this season and I couldn’t be happier that it’s all come together for Mid-Ohio.”
